    All adults in Santa Clara Unified are encouraged to develop the qualities in the Adult Portrait of Vision 2035.  Adults are supported with targeted and relevant professional learning opportunities for staff to expand and enhance their knowledge and skills to advance student achievement.

  • KickUp is a unified system for the communication and registration of professional learning and training opportunities throughout the district
  • Great Beginnings: The teacher induction program is designed to recruit and retain high-quality teachers who ultimately contribute to increased student achievement.
  • Teacher Leadership Matters: We create opportunities for teachers to advance their careers while fully applying their expertise to strengthen the profession and increase student success.
  • This program provides coaching support for permanent and probationary certificated staff.
  • Professional learning initiatives are priorities that are aligned to Vision 2035 and current strategic goals.
  • Leadership Development: Professional learning opportunities are available for current administrators and teacher leaders who aspire to pursue future administrative positions in SCUSD.
  • Classified Employee Support: Professional learning pathways are provided to our classified staff to increase and advance their skills and knowledge in the roles they serve districtwide
