If your child is experiencing any COVID symptoms, please keep them home, seek medical care, and have them tested. They may return to in-person school with a negative COVID test or a doctor’s note with a confirmed alternative diagnosis if they have gone 24 hours with no fever and their symptoms are better.
If you are unable to get a test or doctor’s note, your child must stay home until at least 10 days have passed since symptom onset.
COVID symptoms include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, runny nose or congestion, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.If the student is fully vaccinated they may return to school once they are feeling better and fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication. Parent must provide vaccine information to health office.Definition of fully vaccinated: 14 days after getting their 2nd covid vaccine.Students are only offered the Pfizer vaccine which is a 2-dose vaccine.

To report an absence, please call the 24-hour attendance line at 669-369-4205 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please include the following information
1. Student's name
2. Date of absence
3. Reason for absence (illness, medical appointment, etc)
4. Caller's name, phone number, and relationship to the student.
If a reason is not provided, the absence will be considered unexcused
You have 72 hours to report an absence before it is marked as unexcused. After the 72 hour period, the absence will remain unexcused.
Absences that are not due to illness or medical appointments are considered unexcused.
Absences due to illness exceeding 3 consecutive days, will require a doctor's note to be excused.
